One last thought, how about incrementing the name to see if there is
something stuck because of that? I know it sounds odd

Can you do the following on uksccmads01

netdiag /fix
ipconfig /registerdns

The problem may actually have nothing to do with the new server but the
current server uksccmads01. Once the above is done re-run dcdiag to see
if the error goes away.

I would specifically check the dns server inquired from where the
dcdiag test was run.


From a command prompt try and see if you get any additional info
dnslint /ad /s "ip address of your dc"

nslookup rom both servers looks fine, both have A and Pointer recors
in DNS with the correct IP's.

errors

use, AD integrated? Please post a complete dcdiag /v output

Hi there, a newly promotoed win2k domain controller (which
is a
virtual machine running under virtual server 2005 sp1. This
is the
second time I've promoted the server and the second time I
am
receiving these errors.

Any ideas anyone?

I'm at a loss, no SYSVOL shares are showing and this is the
