Slow down. It doesn't sound to me like you have an understanding of your
topology. You should sit down and grab a paper and pencil and layout what
your enterprise should look like and from there compare it to what is
actually defined in AD.
Within the sites and services verify any dc's that belong to sites actually
reside in the containers and all specific subnets are defined for these
sites.
Once this is done then come back with questions.

I'm getting a TON of NTDS KCC 1567 errors in the directory services log on
one of my servers.
I have 3 sites listed in Sites & Services.
The first site - Austin - has no servers listed.
The second site - Boston - has 6 servers listed, 3 of which have IP
selected under the box "This server is a preferred bridgehead server for
the following transports." These are BOS1, BOS2, and BOS3
The third site - Charlotte - has 2 servers listed, 2 of which have IP
selected under the box "This server is a preferred bridgehead server for
the following transports." These are CHA1, CHA2, and CHA3.
HERE'S THE CONFUSING PART:
Using replmon, if I click on various servers within each site, and choose
"show bridgehead servers in this site" it shows me totally different
information.
So here's what I'm wondering: Is it possible to somehow delete all
bridghead servers in my enterprise and start from scratch? It seems based
on my reading that Active Directory will basically sort it all out on its
own. If this is possible and won't cause any harm (I don't even think the
bridgeheads are serving any purpose for us), how do I remove them?
Also, I notice 3 site lines in ADSS: AUS-BOS, AUS-CHA, and
DEFAULTSITELINK. What are the ramifications of deleting the first two?
Again, I really don't think they are serving any purpose. But just in
case they are, I'd like to know if it's okay to delete them and recreate
them, if necessary.
Thanks
.
