If he is OK on another PC it may be his profile on the "first" PC. Try
renaming it and having him log on and a fresh profile will be created. You
will be able to copy parts of his old (renamed) profile into his new
profile.

no I have not. when he gets prompted for the username and password and
types
it in he is authenticated, none of the other users are prompted to do so,
he
is also being prompted in outlook
I will have him login to a different pc and report back

Have you tried "that" user on a different PC?

I have a user that gets prompted for authentication on login for outlook
and
the logonscript. No other users have this happening to them. I tried a
different user on that pc and it worked correctly. This user has the
same
permissions as other users. I was thinking that the user account may be
bad
in AD. Any ideas on a resolution?
Thanks
