Re: Migration from 2000 domain to 2008 domain

Hello lucos66,

What do you mean with transfer the users? If the 2008 DC is a member of the domain you have had before it will replicate all from the existing DC's automatically? Or did you built a new domain with the same domain name on the 2008 server? Please clarify this.

Best regards

My mistake. it is a global catalog, domain controller.
I would like to "transfer" all the users and computers to the new
*machine* but I want to keep the domain name; and I want everything to
be transparent to the users...
thanks.
