Hello ngjarman,
I assume you use domain user accounts for logging on to the domain with XP? Can you post an unedited ipconfig /all from all 3 machines. For the member server you use the domain admininstrator account or a normal user when trying to login locally?
Best regards

Hi Meinolf,
Thanks for the pointers, but the password is strong, and accepted by
the DS,
just not by the other machines. It's almost as though the DS is not
talking
to the other machines.

Hello ngjarman,
If it is reporting in the error message with the password problem,
make sure you use at least capitals, small letters, numbers. Also the
username or over 3 charecters of the username are not allowed.
Passwords cannot contain the user's account name or parts of the
user's full name that exceed two consecutive characters. Passwords
must be at least six characters in length. Passwords must contain
characters from three of the following four categories:
English uppercase characters (A through Z).
English lowercase characters (a through z).
Base 10 digits (0 through 9).
Non-alphabetic characters (for example, !, $, #, %).
