Being that it is a laptop, the user that will be using it works in
multiple locations and VPN's back into our office. What would be the
correct procedure then to do for accounts? I have about 10-12 users
that work in multiple offices and need/use roaming profiles and I need
to speed this up some how.....

Hello TimParker,
If you have a lot of data in the folders they will be all copied to the destination
machine where you logging in. If you have a slow link to the site where the
client is, it will take time. Try with an account that has no roaming profile,
to see if it speeds up.

I am trying to figure out if I missed something when this on our
network. I have a couple new laptop users that I just turned loose and
I am trying to install a printer for one remotely. The logon time is
taking forever. I have my desktop and mydocuments folders being
redirected. Shouldn't that speed up the logins? Or am I missing
something with how this works?
The only thing I haven't redirected yet is Application Data. Thoughts?
