Thanks for the kind words. Just so you won't be disappointed, the book does
not cover the membership providers for ASP.NET at all. There is another
book out there on that subject, but we have no content on it at all.

Additionally, our book only covers ADAM at a high level and doesn't provide
a lot of information on bind proxy objects or any IT Pro topics such as
configuring synchronization. It is more of a low level book aimed at LDAP
programming. I think you'll still find it useful, but it won't tell you
everything you need to know.

If you use bind proxy objects, you'll need a way to get them created in ADAM
and keep them in sync. A tool like ADAMSync can do this for you. You don't
need to sync passwords to ADAM if you use bind proxies.
