AD & Small Business Server

I'm new to this so please bear with me. In our company we have an AD
server. We have a new software package that requires Small Business
Server Prem. I installed the SBS and during configuration of the DNS
it asks me for the local domain name (and BSD5 + computer name). What
should I chose here? I tried the same as on the AD server but it
complains. But if I chose something different am I going to have
problems with all the users that are already on our domain?

Background info for the AD server:
dnsmgmt lists XYZ under DNS (XYZ is the company name)
System properties lists: Domain XYZ.com
Full computer name: xy.xyz.com

Thanks
.
