Hi JF,
why don't you try UGMC (universal group membership caching)
For more information on this find the below links,

I have numerous sites but my questions is with one large site in Florida..
Small offices in China and UK were opened with less than 12 users per office.
Florida, UK and Chine offices have unique IP ranges. I have two GC/DC in the
Florida site. Sites were never made for the new offices(china & uk) their IP
ranges were added to Florida’s site. I now have users in china and UK
complaining about slow logins, GAL access ect...
I feel the issue will be fixed by adding a GC/DC in chine and uk offices.
The two options I see to accomplish this are
1- Remove the IP ranges for China and UK from the Florida site. Then make
new sites for UK and China. Then build a GC\DC in china and another in UK
2-Make no changes to the site topology. Build new GC\DC in china and UK then
somehow hard code the local clients in China and UK to use the new local
GC\DC.
Which option would be best? Is option 2 even possible?
Also the connection speed at china is a concern, it is only 1.5mbps. Anyone
know of a table that shows recommended site replication frequency for a given
connection speed?
Thank you in advance!
