If there are errors in the dcdiag, there should be room to post those.
People do that all the time. Let me know if you can't post that

Well MAN!!!..it was premature to celebrate accomplishments ...some things
are
waiting for your expert advice!!
By hook or by crook, i managed to install CRM 4.0 and it is working
fine( i
am sure the GUID domain nam FQDN was culprit that time)..but in ADC
eventviewer event ID 1126 is appearing again despite the fact that in
DSSITE.MSC, i dont get any error when i replicate from DC.
Furthermore, on ADC when i type control sysdm.cpl and goes to Computer
Name,
it full computer name is IOPDB only not IOPDB.IOP.NET also ADC eventviewer
registers event id with 414.
Since it is additional domain controller, i cant change its domain name
suffix.
the tasks you recommended me to perform in your previous reply contains
files too verbose to be pasted in this small window...if it is possible
for
you to give me your email address so that i post those file to your email
regards

thanks to Dnslint /ad /s command i have resolved this issue
yesterday.actually in both DNS msdcs section, the GUID was not a
complete
FQDN.it was missing domain name suffix of ADC in both DNS servers.so
modified
both of them..and it worked...now, after that i have managed to install
CRM
4.0 successfully...replication between ADC and DC is working :)

Alright lets check AD for starters.
un diagnostics against your Active Directory domain.
If you don't have the support tools installed, install them from your
server
install disk.
d:\support\tools\setup.exe
Run dcdiag, netdiag and repadmin in verbose mode.
-> DCDIAG /V /C /D /E /s:yourdcname > c:\dcdiag.log
-> netdiag.exe /v > c:\netdiag.log (On each dc)
-> repadmin.exe /showrepl dc* /verbose /all /intersite > c:\repl.txt
-> dnslint /ad /s "ip address of your dc"
**Note: Using the /E switch in dcdiag will run diagnostics against ALL
dc's
in the forest. If you have significant numbers of DC's this test
could
generate significant detail and take a long time. You also want to
take
into account slow links to dc's will also add to the testing time.
If you download a gui script I wrote it should be simple to set and
run
(DCDiag and NetDiag). It also has the option to run individual tests
without having to learn all the switch options. The details will be
output
in notepad text files that pop up automagically.
The script is located on my website at
http://www.pbbergs.com/windows/downloads.htm
Just select both dcdiag and netdiag make sure verbose is set. (Leave
the
default settings for dcdiag as set when selected)
When complete search for fail, error and warning messages.
Description and download for dnslint

the troubled ADC ip is 192.168.0.1.Its OS is windows 2000 adv sp4.
motivation behind resolving this issue stems from CRM installation
error
on
a separate machine. At first, it might seems to be quite strange that
what
in
the world Do CRM have in common with ADC replication issue.
Well..here
it
is.
During CRM installation issue, i get no error in environmental
diagnostic
wizard.OK...it comes in middle of Installation.the error is.Read
Carefully
since i cant post screenshot here.
"Action Microsoft.Crm.Setup.Server.InstallConfigDatabaseAction
failed.
Unable to obtain DNS hostname of Active Directory domain controller
with
ntdsa object name
"CN=NTDSSettings,CN=IOPDB,CN=Servers,CN=Default-First-Site-Name,CN=Configuration,DC=iop,DC=net"
note that it points to CN=IOPDB which is troubled DC.i dont know how
that
troubled ADC is meddling in CRM installation..after that error the
last
error
pertains to SQL in which it says that CRM databse already
exist.However, i
never created CRM databse before installation..out of this world
suggestion!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
so...this is the story of troubled ADC...it is hampering
installation
of
CRM
4.0
furthrmore, in dssite.msc i cant replicated from dc and ADC an error
pops
up
that RPC server is unavailable.

Post the IP Address of the troubled dc.
Has anything recently happened to this dc, like did it crash so you
re-installed it?

That error is not too bad, as far as I know. What does dcdiag

Any
errors in your event log showing why replication doesn't work?
