Re: change domain admin password

Hello mohamed_magdy,

Just make sure that the account password is also changed on services if the account was use for that.

Just as an info, since Windows 2000 there is nolonger a PDC/BDC concept, all DC's are the same, differences are the 5 FSMO roles and how they have to be set. You can see the PDCEmulator role as an equivalent for the old PDC but it is only needed for backwards compatibility to NT4.

Best regards

I have 3 active directories one of them is the primary domain
controller and the others are secondary domain controller. I need to
change the domain admin password. The question is if there is any
steps need to be done before change the password and is it necessary
to do this on the primary domain controller?
