Re: Adprep for Windows 2008

Hello Kent,

What about forestprep? Did it run without error?

Best regards

Hello, I am trying to run "adprep /domainprep /gpprep" and get the
error:

Z:\SOURCES\ADPREP>adprep /domainprep /gpprep
Running domainprep ...
Domain-wide information has already been updated.
[Status/Consequence]
Adprep did not attempt to rerun this operation.
Adprep was unable to complete because the call back function failed.
[Status/Consequence]
Error message: (null)
[User Action]
Check the log file ADPrep.log, in the
C:\WINDOWS\debug\adprep\logs\2008051517320
9 directory for more information.
Dcdiag passed. I am running it on the only DC in the domain and it is
2003 Standard. Of course it is the infrastructure master. I am
running adprep from the sources\adprep folder on the Windows 2008 CD.
I tried both from a mapped drive to the DVD and I copied the folder to
the hard drive.
