Re: Azman Auditing

Hi

have you seen:

http://technet2.microsoft.com/windowsserver/en/library/9f55d5c2-2f65-4abb-b1f3-3a13ad74ec681033.mspx?mfr=true

both "Generate security audits" and "Manage auditing and security log"
privileges referenced there are configurable under the User Rights
Assignment of your security policy - be aware that domain policy may
override.

I have not tried the above but I am aware that there are restrictions in
ADAM running on Windows XP x86 in respect of audit - again I do not know
whether AzMan audit leverages DS audit in a way that would surface that
limitation.

Hello, I would like to know how to enable Azman Auditing (specificly
"Authorization Store change auditing") and make it works. I know that the
audited entries can be viewed under Event Viewer -> Security, but I don't
know how to find them or if they are being logged.

Notes: I have already activate "Audit object access" and "Audit directory
service access" and also I'm working with ADAM on Windows XP.

Thanks a lot.
Vincent.
