Re: rsop different depending on which DC I choose

Hello MartyBorg,

Start with dcdiag /v and netdiag /v and replmon on both DC's to check for errors. Did you run gpupdate /force or secedit /refreshpolicy machine_policy secedit /refreshpolicy user_policy on the client before or reboot the workstation?

Best regards

I have 2 domain controllers.
I create a new GPO with one change to a computer setting and link it
to an
OU. I select an existing GPO that makes one change to a user setting,
and
link it to the same OU. I place a test machine and a test user in the
OU.
When I run Group Policy Modeling on the OU from DC1, both settings
work.
When I run GPM on the OU, and select DC2, the new GPO doesn't work. It
claims
that it is "empty".
It looks like the DC's syncronise, and I don't see any errors.
Where should I start looking?
