This is all good news that it's not me setting it up wrong.

I think i've solved it and found it to be Nod32. First i removed it
complely and i joined a few machine onto the domain and no problems.

So i reinstalled and the next machine crashed. So i did the next machine
really slowly and monitored what i was doing when it start to show signs
of crashing.

It looked like when i was moving the users data from the local machine in
there redirect folder (which is on the server) it crashed then. So i've
excluded the profiles folder from Nod32 scans, and joined several more
machine with no problems.

I see nothing in this at all. I would look through your Event Logs. Also
take a look at your network, particularly your switch since I don't see
anything wrong with any of the info you have provided.
