Unable to browse shared folders on DC

Greetings:

Everything was going normal until yesteday ,suddenly all the XP workstatios
are prompted for a username and password when trying to browse the shared
folders on the DC ,I tried supplying in the Domain's admin credentials but
the login screen kept coming back ,the surprising thing is that all the
workstations running Vista is not affected and still able to access shared
folders without any problems ,I checked the shared folders and made sure
that all the sharing settings are enabled ,so what can I do now?

Thanks in advance
