IM testing renaming a domain from one to another.

IM currently in a VM enviroment and i get through the documentation just
fine with rendom /list and /upload.

I have ran the command to sync my changes in ad (even though i only have one
DC server in this enviroment). When i run my next command (rendom /prepare)
from the control workstation (windows xp pro) i get an error 5.

Isnt this a authentication / permissions issue? IM using the administrator
account in this instance so i am a member of the enterprise administrators
group.
IM not sure what the issue is.

Can anyone shed some light on this error or places to look to get me past
the prepare phase?

.
