Hi all, i'm hoping you can help me out here.
We have a Windows 2003 domain with 5 domain controllers, and 2 backend
Exchange 2003 servers. One of the Exchange backend servers is one of the 5
domain controllers.
The subdomain.domain.com format has been used since I started working
here,
but this serves 2 companies. The other company has been sold off and it
will
be my job to split the servers to an entirely new domain. So the Exchange
Backend server will need to go along with 4 or 5 standard domain servers.
Also their client machines will need to go as well.
Their servers are located at the datacentre alongside our servers and
their
client PCs are located at their office. We are at a separate office.
I am trying to think about how I am going to split their machines from
ours
to a new domain without affecting any of our systems. How would I do this?
I
wouldn't know where to start.
Any help you can provide would be much appreciated.
Thanks
Andoni
