Confused on DNS install when adding a second DC to the domain

Setting up a single DC is pretty much a no-brainer. The wizards handle
everything, and the DNS is correctly installed and configured. However,
adding an additional DC to the domain seems to have a derth of information
on how to set up a second DNS to go with it. Does anyone have a ling to
step-by-step instructions for dummies on how to do this? (The default points
to the original DNS server, which is fine until that server is shut down...
defeating the point of the secondary server in the first place).
