Hello Clayton,

I am not sure, but it can be that you are logging in with cached
credentials. This means working local only on the machine, without domain
access. So is the login time longer as normal?

Hello,
Recently I discovered that after Disabling one of my computer accounts
in
active directory, it in fact was not.
I have tested several computers and get the same result.
So just to clarify, if I disable a Computer account I should not be
able to
login to this after the fact...correct?
If so, it is not working?
I tested one of the user account and after forcing replication the
users
account was locked out but none of the PC's will disable.
I have an 2003 SP2 Active Directory DC, I have tested several XP Pro
SP2 PC's.
I looked into the event logs on the DC and see Event ID's 5723 and
5805
which lead me to believe this should be working but I can log into any
of the
test PC's as a standard domain user and access any and all network
shares or
services?
Any ideas? Am I just under the wrong impression on how Disabling
Computer
accounts really work?
Thanks

.
