heck I don't, what are your requirements...
this is like you asking me why you may need a car? there million reasons to have one and another million not to have one
think about what you want to accomplish and act on those requirements

Our company has just started and all of our computers are in the WORKGROUP network. We dont have a domain. Do we need to install Active directory to have a domain ? What are the reasons for why we need active directory ? Also if we purchase a Windows server license, do we have to purcharse licenses to set up active directory, etc. ? Let me know whats involved in setting it up.
Also do I need to have DNS or WINS or both in my network and do I need to set that up too ?
Thanks
.
