Hi
In SBS domain you can't just add a new DC and retire the SBS (by design).
You need to go through migration.

Hello,
I've been running a Windows 2003 SBS. Now I just installed a Windows 2003
Standard Server into the domain. I want to move everything to the new
server
and retire the SBS. I also installed a seperate Exchange 2007 server into
the
domain since we outgrew the SBS.
Do I need to assign the 2003 Standard server as a Global Catalog? Since
this
is a domain controller did it automatically do it?
Once the SBS is retired, I'm going to install yet another 2003 domain
controller. Should I have 2 Global Catalog servers for redundancy?
Thanks
.
