Re: Configuration site in NLTEST

The site name was US-MAL. AD Sites and Services and LDAP queries into the Sites obects showed the same. However, we just renamed the site to USMV and "configuration" went away.

One of our other companies has the same though.. a site that shows up as Configuration in NLTEST, but Sites and Services and LDAP show it as the correct site name. So I think some MS tool is doing it as a default - maybe it was the first site in the new domain or something or a side effect of a domain rename...

Anyone else seen this?

The command: NLTEST /DCLIST:<domain_name>

lists all of the DCs in a domain, along with their site names.
I've noticed that one server always displays "Configuraton" rather
than its site name. What's the significance of that?
