Thanks For your reply.
You say that "cached credentials is the number of password hashes
stored on the client". Right? Does this password hash is reversible through this policy?
Thanks

Hi meight!.
It's on the client, not on the DC.
The DC never stores the password in plain text, it's a client setting which
applyes to the client not to the DC.
As I said cached credentials and store password using reversible encryption
is not the same thing! cached credentials is the number of password hashes
stored on the client and Store password using reversible encryption is
storing the password in plain text.

Does this password store in Domain Controller? Right?
When I, as a user, login to my computer, does this policy make my cashed
credential reversible?
Thanks again.

This is not the same as cached credential. With reversible encryption the
password is stoed in plain text! This setting shall only be enabled if there
is any applicaitons which requier the setting! I think that Digest
authentication in IIS is one of those applicaitons which need the setting.

Hi all,
I have some questions in "Store password using reversible encryption" option
in User Properties in Active Directory.
Does this option relates to the cache credential on workstations? I mean, if
we enable this option, does the credential of the user is stored in the
workstation that he or she logs on to the domain in reversible mode?
Thanks
Reza
