I'm attempting to setup a user based GPO that will allow a user to logon to the network using a specific user if they forget their password. When logging on with this user, they would be directed to the web page for the password reset tool.
I've got one small problem though -- I can't figure out how to disable the Search Companion. If I press Ctrl+E it launches. Once it launches, I can search for files on the local drives and even delete them. Or I can use the search function to allow me to do searches on the Internet. I would like to also get rid of Ctrl+H too if possible - this opens History.
It's an interesting requirement.
How exactly does the password reset tool work? Might give us a better idea of how you can achieve what you need.
