Hi Pat,
The "log on to" tab in the user properties represents the "user-Workstations" attribute.
This attribute is defined in the schema to consists of a comma separated list on NetBIOS or DNS names.
See: http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms680868.aspx for more info.

Hi,
I have a question regarding the "Log on to" tab for a user (User
Properties --> Account --> Log on to...). I can specify a NetBIOS or a
DNS name, but the length of the name is limited to 15 characters, so I
would like to instead be able to specify an IP address. Is there a
way to specify an IP address at that place, or is there another way to
restrict access by IP address ?
Thank you.
.
