Re: Active Directory em Win2003 Server SP2 para um novo Servidor

Hi!
As I have mentioned before I´ve got a server with the windows server 2003
which is already updated where I have a domain with the ActiveDirectory
running which is also the file server.
I´ve acquired a new server with many more resources where I´ve installed
the Windows server 2003 SP2 with RAID3, what I wish to do next is to make the
transfer from the ActiveDirectory to the new server, how can I do that? I
didn´t create the ActiveDirectory nor do I have enough knowledge to make the
copy from one programme to the other, could you help me in this task by
leading me the way step by step so that I can make this transfer with the
least errors possible?

Thanking you in advance

boas noites
me

obrigado

cordiais cumprimentos,

This will depend upon if this is a migration or just a move. If you are
only
looking to move to a new server on an updated OS, simply adding the new
server as a DC will accomplish your goal. As Jorge points out, if you
are
integrating with another directory, you will have to migrate -- ADMT is
the
tool for that.

My portuguese isn't great, but I can get by if you need further help.

Good Luck!

Existe alguma ferramenta da Microsoft do tipo "umove428" da
