Yes that seems to be true. As I clicked on several computer many do
not have the Domain\Domain in the group Users.
Lib1 Does, Lib2 does not? As far as I know I have not changed these
settings.
As to your second question.
Correct we do not allow people to log on as Local Users only as
authenticated domain users (if thats the right wording). Of course
there is a local administrator on each system with a differnt password
than the net administrator. But people other than me and a few others
know the password.
Why are there domain\domin local group users on some computers and not
others? And what are the implications?
So you say you have computers where the local "Users" group doesn't contain the "Domain\Domain users" group ?
So users can't log inside, except if they are member of local power users
group or even local administrators groups
.
