Hi
For a user get the certificate (by default) it requires the E-Mail name you
can check that in subject name under the Certificate template properties.
Vista has some significant changes to Internet Explorer, check at MS site
for vista the changes and known issues, or you could ask at the Vista ngs.

Hi, I have a strange behaviour in on of our Windows Vista based computers.
We
have a windows 2003 domain, and this machine i correctly added to it, the
user even logs in starting session and all..
We have a few sharepoint sites and shared folders, and the user can access
correctly.. But then there is some strange behavoiurs..
first: We have windows live communications server, and when he opens
Office
communicator, his password is not remembered, and he has to put it again
and
then logins..
second: He created a word file, and tries to save it to a folder in the
network, and he gets an access denied error, however, if he just drags a
file
from his computer to that same folder in the network he gets no errors...
third: He tries to request a User certificate from our CA using a MMC snap
in, and gets a username not valid error...
So it seems like his computer is forgeting its credentials for some
applications and other are working.. for example sharepoint, Project web
access, is working ok...
Any Ideas??
