Advanced User Security
Tech-Archive recommends: Fix windows errors by optimizing your registry
Hi All,
I am trying to figure out how to add several special permissions to all the
accounts in a given folder.
In active directory I have cn=mygroup,cn=thesepeople and for every user
object in cn=mygroup I want to add special permissions. I can add the perms
to individual user objects by edit the user object, Propertiese ->
Security-> Advanced->Add -> SELF -> Allow Read/Write web information (for
example) The full scope is to add about 10 different allow statements to the
SELF object so users can modify some of their own AD info.
I tried creating a group and setting the same sort of special permissions to
the group to see if it would enumerate, but it does not.
This is Windows Enterprise 2003 R2
Any thoughts appreciated.
