My understanding is that sAMAccountName is still limited to 20 characters.

I'm trying to determine the maximum length of user logon names in Windows
2003 AD. I've been able to determine that the maximum length of Relative
Distinguished Names is 255 and Distinguished Names can a maximum of 2048
characters. Not sure what the max is for just login names.
