The article (http://support.microsoft.com/?id=555038) doesn't distinguish
between Windows 98 and Windows 98 SE. So is the article applicable to 98,
98
SE, or both?

concerning the w98 in AD 2003 see:

native mode has not affect on authentications, only on what OS for DCs is
supported

I have a simple security layout. I only need the clients to validate,
file,
and print. I don't have SQL Server, Exchange, or anything else cool
like
that. Just log in, file and print.

When I install Windows Server 2003, I am given several options
regarding
what mode to install the server in. If I install the server in native
mode,
will my Windows 98 clients still be able to log in, file and print?
Will
I
need/want to install DSClient?
