In order to zone transfer occurs you need to allow zone transfers from DNS
Zone properties.

I configured a member server to be a DNS server and configured the DNS
settings; created a zone, SRV record on the domain master DNS server, and
all other DNS required values, but the primary zone in the DNS master
isn't
transferring the zone records to the member server. My question is this,
do I
need to prompte the member server to a DC in order to allow the zones to
be
transferred(Replicated)?
