We are running Windows 2000 AD Native Mode

We started adding 2003 dc’s

The last windows 2000 DC died and was thrown away, not demoted

Currently we are still running Windows 2000 Native Mode but with only
Windows 2003 DC’s

We are unable to upgrade the functional level of the forest or domain
because of the phantom 2000 dc that was lost

I have already researched how to resolve the issue.

My question is, what issues could this cause by allowing this domain to
exist in this state?
