They all take turns. The only way to prefer a specific DC is to put the others in a different AD site, as Al said.

thank you, I will transf the roles, so you are saying to leave it a gc on the
exchange server, my question then is if I have 3 dc's that are gc's who
answers the login authentication? Do all 3 take turns? and if so if I want
pc's to authenticate with a specific server first, can you do that? thanks
