I am getting what seems to be common event errors 1030 and 1058. I
researched the problem and in my case the folder was named
incorrectly. Half my servers were pointing to 0B26CFE5-40AF-49A1-
B382-0Z5CA836A2E2} in the sysvol folder. Notice that it is missing
the first bracket {. Half my servers were fine because I wasn't
receiving 1030/1058 errors. But of the ones that were erroring, they
were trying to fine the gpt.ini file in {0B26CFE5-40AF-49A1-
B382-0Z5CA836A2E2} which is the proper naming of the folder but it
didn't exist. I copied the first folder and just added a bracket and
now the errors went away.
My question is...How do I change the path on a server of where it
should look for the gpt.ini file? I would have rather gone into the
servers that were receiving the errors and just pointed them to the
correct group policy file but I couldn't figure out where that was. I
went all through the gpedit.msc plugin and found nothing.

I have already gone through most of these items. I don't have the
problem anymore. What I want to know is :

I am thinking this can't simply be changed in a path to look for a new
file and most likely needs to be taken out of the domain and added
again but I just want to check.
