Re: password prompt to be changed
That prompt is generated at logon if connected to the domain at the time of
logon.
Are your users logging out?
Are they networked to the domain controller at logon?
Are they functioning properly? i.e. any errors in the event logs that need
to be addressed?

from Group policy i have enabled the password maximum age in
default domain policy,
computer configuration,
windows settings,
security,
accounts policy,
password policy and under local policies in security option the
Interactive
logon: Prompt user to change password before expiration is enabled.
the problem is that it does not propmt the users to change the password
the
x amount of days that is set and only says that the password has expired.
what else is needed in order for the users to be prompt 10 days lets say
before expiration of the password?
thank you in advance
