No but I use a redirector which actually uses port 443. I just checked and
it is working fine for me.

If you have two separate forests you can't magically bring across schema

across
new users but it isn't going to append information.
You could look at using csvde or ldifde to attempt to possibly assist in

I usually end up rebuilding my test lab every 6 months to year.

building a test environment if that helps at all

2 yrs ago we built our testlab using a system state restore from our 6
production domain controllers. Its been working fine, but now after 2
yrs
we
want to bring the testlab up to production leve. We would like to
bring
all
the schema changes, GPO's and accounts to production level.
Unfortunately
the member servers/application servers are different that production
and
the
service accounts we use in production are different than the testlab.
What would be your advice in order to bring only certain OU's and or
schema
changes across to our testlab?
Can you suggest a third party application that might help us to refresh
AD
data in the testlab?
Thanks in advance
