Hi
You should allow replication traffic between all servers in these remote sites, why? Well, if some of these DCs/GCs goes down then the ISTG by default automatically selects another BH Server for AD Inter-Site Replication, you should take that in mind if you're planning to allow traffic between only 2 DCs/GCs.

How do I determine which 2003 DC/GC will be used to replicate to a another DC
(same AD domain, different AD site) when that DC is promoted to a GC.
i.e. We have DCs/GCs throughout Asia Pac. I want to promote an already
exisitng DC in one country to a GC and would like to know which DC/GC is will
replicate from so I can manage the WAN traffic accordingly.
Any ideas?
