Re: Light directory service and ADAM
Tech-Archive recommends: Repair Windows Errors & Optimize Windows Performance
ADAM is not a store for Windows accounts. If you want that, you need full
AD.

I am looking for a "light" directory service to manage and keep
synchronized usernames an passwords of a small group of users on a small
group of Windows servers.
Active Directory looks too much powerful and complex for my needs.
I looked at ADAM but it does not look to fit my needs, is it correct? I
was unable to use it to manage Windows user accounts, should I be able to
use it?
Is there any other solution I can try, including third party solutions?
Regards
Mario
