Re: NooB ? - W2K3 Server - 2 Domains need to talk to each other

Tech-Archive recommends: Fix windows errors by optimizing your registry

If CHS is in a separate forest than CorpMain, you will need to configure an
external trust between them as follows:
http://technet2.microsoft.com/WindowsServer/en/library/b30ef067-746e-4453-b879-804259aafdd31033.mspx?mfr=true.

You will need to be a Domain Admin or Enterprise Admin in both domains, and
each domain will need to be able to resolve the other's DNS records.

I have a production domain "CorpMain" that is apart of the Forest "Corp".
I
just installed a new production server called "CHS" and its set up with
AD/DNS/DHCP as well and is its own seperate "PDC".

what is needed to have the two communicate with each other? I am still
kind
of new to AD

thanks
