LOL. I think, my good man, that you are blowing this out of all proportian.
Firstly, this is a public news server, so please don't think that someone is
going to come along and simply write the script, document it's instalation
and guide you through deploying said solution. Why would they? We'll offer
advice, but if you want someone to come in and do it all for you then you
have to pay someone. Advice is given if you're attemping this on your own,
or to aid you in discovering that you cannot do this and need third party
help. There are many people here who've done just what you want, but those
of us such as Joe and myself who work for solutions providers end up
charging the customer in question somewhere in the region of £750 - £1500
per day for such work.
You've been given example code, and some advice on how you need to
amalgamate this code into a single script and test it in a development lab.
Then, once you're happy with it, you need to roll it into production. If
you need help on amalgamating the scripts into one that suits your purposes
you must ask. Sometimes people will provide such scripts. It depends on
whether they've taken the time to write such a script in their own time, or
maybe they don't care about IPR. If you need help setting up a test lab, or
configuring the scheduled task, again just ask. Please don't say we haven't
helped. If you want some extra help on top of what's been given, just ask.
If you feel the need to go complain to Microsoft then go do so. Microsoft
provide these news groups so that people can help each other with problems
without logging support calls that often cost. Microsoft emphasise that any
suggestions posted by their employees are without warantee or rights. You
need to go through the dedicated support channels for that. The rest of us
don't work for Microsoft, so what we say and do is irrelevant as long as it
doesn't fall outside of acciptable etiquette.
If you don't feel the free, unbiased route is helping you, then you should
do one of three things (in no particular order):
Log a support incident with MSFT for help
Outsource the work to a consultant or company that will do it for you.
Read up and research this yourself and implement according to your company's
recommended processes for environment change.
