Re: Browsing issues between new AD and old NT4 domain

The PDCe is the domain master browser. The PDCe needs to be pointing to the
same WINS database as the other machines (not the same server, but they need
to point to replicas of the same DB). Is this happening? It sounds like
there's some kind of name resolution issue with the browsers and the master
browser.

Something has changed. You need to identify what. Have you changed WINS
servers for some of the DCs? Have you moved some boxes onto different DNS
servers so that you can't properly locate DCs?

Follow the event log errors. Start by running NLTEST and NSLOOKUP tests on
the boxes with browser errors. Verify DNS and WINS name resolution is
working properly and then hit www.eventid.net to help with those errors.
