I am getting the following error in the system log of computer3.dom1.com.
This computer is the only computer in the lab domain dom1.com, which is
part of the lab cohovinyard.com forest. The forest root domain also has
only 1 computer, computer2.cohovinyard.com.
Event Type: Error
Event Source: KDC
Event Category: None
Event ID: 11
Date: 2/16/2007
Time: 8:38:57 AM
User: N/A
Computer: COMPUTER3
Description:
There are multiple accounts with name cifs/computer3 of type
DS_SERVICE_PRINCIPAL_NAME.
According to the help and support center message I have multiple computer
accounts with the cifs/computer3 service principle name. I used the LDP
tool as recommended and it only found the single computer account. I
browsed through the domain objects with adsiedit.msc and could not find an
attriute called serviceprinciplename or ds_service*. I checked all
container replication with replmon and it says there are no replication
problems. I manually replicated all containers and they show all up to
date. Both servers were restarted and I still get the error message.
