i know is is required for DHCP over WAN in a Cisco environment. We use

in our VPN at one remote site over a Comcast VPN to our main office.

That is interesting. I thought IP helper was strictly for DHCP --
essentially
a version of what Microsoft offers as a "DHCP relay agent".

What other services can take advantage of "IP Helper" on Cisco?
