Not sure what you mean by a "console" login? If you mean, sitting in
front of the server and logging in, we have done that. The fact that
we could not login at the server prompted us to try RDC.
Yes, I meant at the keyboard. It is unlikely that an RDC connection
will ever work when the keyboard fails (unless it were a hardware,
eg., keyboard error.)
Plus, I am
still off-site trying to help troubleshoot this and learn as much as I
can about the options until I get on-site tomorrow. Do you still think
using the AdminPak.msi would help?
It might but only if one of your accounts can still authenticate (as an
admin).
If so, where do I obtain it and how/ where do I install it?
It's on the DC, in System32, and connecting to the admin share to get
it will be an interesting test. If that works, you don't have an "account
lockout" problem.
You can also download it from MS or find it on anyone else's 2003
DC.
