Basically, I have a PC that I only want certain people to use. Sometimes they
forget to logoff when they are done... So is there a setting that will
automatically log off the user after, for example, 10 minutes of inactivity ??
Thanks

hey everyone,
I'm all googled out! does anyone know if there is a way to
force/automatically log off a user after x amount of minutes of inactivity in
active directory? I looked in GPO and could not find a setting.

You will need a third party application for this to monitor the
machine for inactivity. Desktop authority has the ability to do
this. http://www.scriptlogic.com/products/desktopauthority/ You can
set up to lock logoff, shutdown and restart based on times of
inactivity. Very helpful if you are trying to do maintenance on
logoff.
Hope this helps,
