I've made some progress, but not really enough...
Using the following answer file I can see the installation
progressbar, but no other result. My service is not created, though
I'm not getting any error message.

Any input will be highly appreciated!
Thanks!

I've installed anADAMinstance on my computer (XP) using the setup
wizard successfully.
I'm Trying to use theunattendedinstallation as explained in
"BundlingADAM" article, using the sample answer file that installs a
uniqueADAMinstance shown there.
I keep getting "Command line option syntax error. Type Command /? for
Help."
Trying to figure it out I searched for HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows
\CurrentVersion\ADAM_Installer_Results, but it is no where to be found
(theADAMrelated keys I have under CurrentVersion are
ADAM_Shared ans ADAM_SP.).
What am I doing wrong?

Before installation, try to clear all registries of remanants from
previous instances. In our set up, after every third or fourth round
of installing--->removing-->re-installing adam or repliaca, it failed
to bring up the service. We used to be sure to manually clear
registeries, and restart the box.
After installing, service pack SP1, we do not have this issue.
There was this one time, the installation would fail because a link to
ADAM could not be created in Start-->All Program menu (ya, ya... it is
true). Once we did it manually prior to installation, we were ok.
Again, this issue got fixed with SP1.
