I am in a situation where I need remove the last/only DC in a Child domain.
I started to run DCpromo and on the first page was presented with the check
box for Is this the last domain controller in the domain. I am just
wondering since this is the last DC in the Child domain do I need to check
it? We want to keep the parent domain there just remove the child domain.
this http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;EN-US;230306 was one
of the few articals I could find on the subject but it doesn't really seem
to answer the question. any help would be greatly appriciated.
