External Time Config

Sorry for the long post I am a little confused in regards to configuring an
external time server for our domain.

Currently we have several unix box's that are acting as time servers in our
env. Those unix box's are synching to external time servers.
On our Windows 2000 Domain Controller that has the PDC emulator role we ran
the following command
net time \\domainserver /setsntp:timeserver.xx.com -- the timeserver.xx.com
is one of the unix box's
Then restarted the time service

From dozens of posts I have read this is all I have to do.
Here is where my confusion takes place.
If you look at the registry for the W32Time settings the entry for localNTP
is 0 is this correct?
I have seen conflicting posts about this
No other non domain servers\workstations will use this server as a time
server. All are Win2k or above

Also I do not see a setting for ReliableTimeSource, is this needed?

I have read that you can use this command \\domainserver
/setsntp:"timeserver.xx.com timeserver2.xx.com timeserver3.xx.com"
to specify multiple external time sources.
I also read that you cannot specify more than 1 time source! , if you run
the command above it will modify the registry with all 3 entries.
Which is correct if I want to use more than 1 time source?

I am planning on Migrating to Win2K3 AD, with a new server holding the PDC
emulator role
Which brings me to my last set of questions.
After I bring the new W2k3 dc online and transfer the roles I should be able
to run the following commands
W32tm /config /syncfromflags:manual
/manualpeerlist:timeserver.xx.com,timeserver2.xx.com,timeserver3.xx.com
W32tm /config /update
Is this correct?
Do I need the reliable:yes switch
According to Microsoft Documentation after every dns name that is listed you
must append,0x1 to the end. If you run the above command it will add the
servers but not append the 0x1 at the end. But that is different depending
on what you read
http://technet2.microsoft.com/WindowsServer/en/library/f3d6b66c-5fdc-4a77-a901-5efbcb4d4bb71033.mspx?mfr=true
http://support.microsoft.com/?id=816042
Finally until the old Win2k domain controller is demoted how do you
reconfigure it to no longer be a time server?
You cannot use the W32tm command because that does not work on Win2K
correct?

Thanks for all the help
